Our community is safer and more accountable when people stand behind their words and actions. As a result, you must:

If we determine that removing or restricting access to your content, services, or information is reasonably necessary to avoid or minimiseunfavourable legal or regulatory repercussions on D-app Social, we may do so.

3. The authorizations you grant us

To deliver our services, we require the following permissions from you:

 

  1. Permission to use content you create and post: Intellectual property laws may protect some of the content you share or upload, such as images or movies.

Any such content that you create and share on D-app Social and the other D-app Social Company Products that you use is your intellectual property (things like copyright or trademarks).You have complete freedom to share your content with whomever you want, whenever you want.

However, in order for us to perform our services, you must provide us some legal permissions (referred to as a "licence") to use this content. This information is collected exclusively for the purpose of providing and developing our products and services, as mentioned in Section 1 above.

When you share, post, or upload content on or in connection with our Products that is protected by intellectual property rights, you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, and worldwide licence to host, use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly perform or display, translate, and create derivative works of your content (consistent with your privacy and other rights).This means that whenever you share a photo on D-app Social, you're giving us permission to store, copy, and share it with others (again, according to your preferences), such as service partners who help us run our service or other D-app Social Products you use. When your work is removed from our systems, this licence will expire.

By deactivating your account, you can delete content one by one or all at once. Find out how to delete your account in more detail. Before you delete your account, you can download a copy of your data at any time.

When you delete content, it is no longer visible to other people, but it may still reside on our systems in the following places:

  • Due to technical limitations, immediate deletion is not possible (in which case, your content will be erased within 90 days of your deletion).

 

  • Others have used your work in compliance with this licence and have not yet removed it (in which case this licence will remain in effect until the content is removed); or

 

  • where removing it immediately might limit our abilities to:

 

  • detect or identify illegal conduct or violations of our terms and policies (for example, to investigate or identify misuse of our Products or systems);

 

  • comply with a legal need, such as evidence preservation; or

 

  • a judicial or administrative authority, law enforcement, or a government agency has made a request;

 

In that situation, the content will be kept for no longer than is required for the purposes for which it was kept (the exact duration will vary on a case-by-case basis). 

This licence shall remain in effect until the content has been completely removed in each of the instances mentioned above.

2. Permission for adverts and sponsored content to use your name, profile picture, and information about your actions: You give us permission to use your name and profile image, as well as information about actions you've made on D-app Social, alongside or in conjunction with advertising, offers, and other sponsored content that we display throughout our Products, without charging you anything.We may, for example, show your friends that you are interested in a promoted event or that you have liked a Page made by a brand that has paid us to display its ads on D-app Social.   • An authorised representative requests that an incapacitated user's account be deleted.


Minors are given additional protection.

 

We adhere to the following guidelines:

 

  • Requests to have an account that is under the age of 18 removed.
  • Government asks for the removal of images of child abuse displaying, for example, adult beatings, strangulation, or suffocation.
  • A legal guardian requests that insults against unintentionally renowned youngsters be removed.

 

We need more information and/or context to enforce the following Community Standards:

When a user, government, law enforcement, or other child safety experts request it, we may remove content published for the purpose of identifying a private minor if there is a risk to the minor's safety.
